Une composition bien organisée a une introduction, une transition et une conclusion.

A well-organized composition has an introduction, transitions, and a conclusion.

L'introduction :

Je vais discuter ….(décrire, examiner, comparer, contraster, traiter de) ….

I am going to discuss …. (describe, examine, compare, contrast, deal with) ….

On dit souvent que ….

It is often said that ….

Je vais diviser mes remarques en deux parties : d'abord …. et ensuite ….

I am going to divide my remarks into two parts : first …. and then ….

Les transitions :

d'une part …. d'autre part   (on the one hand …. and, on the other hand)

d'ailleurs   (besides)

de plus   (furthermore, in addition, moreover)

en plus de   (in addition to)

en ce qui concerne   (concerning)

quant à   (as for)

part contre   (on the other hand)

au contraire   (on the contrary)

cependant, pourtant   (however)

mais   (but)

tandis que   (whereas)

par exemple   (for example)

La conclusion :

en conclusion   (in conclusion)

donc   (therefore)

part conséquent   (consequently)

à mon avis   (in my opinion)

bref, en résumé   (in short, to sum up)

pour récapituler, je voudrais dire   (to sum up, I would like to say)
